Michelle joined the firm in 2014.

Michelle works primarily in the areas of resource management and environmental law, local government, dispute resolution, trusts and asset planning while also providing the partners with high level opinion and research products. 

Conscientious, meticulous and thorough, Michelle is also empathetic to clients' particular needs and has already won the confidence of a number of the firm's key stakeholders with her diligence and thoughtful nature.

Equestrian and horses are Michelle's passion and she has been involved in the equine industry for many years. Michelle has ridden competitively throughout her life and has represented Otago at the New Zealand Championships; three day eventing and show jumping being her forté. Michelle now enjoys a less intense but no less pleasurable time with her horses on a family farm south of Oamaru. A born and bred local, Michelle is a family focused person and enjoys spending time with her husband, two primary school aged sons and wider family within the Waitaki.
