Kelvin recently joined the firm from a governmental position in Wellington.
Kelvin has high calibre experience in both the private and public sector, having previously worked for NZ Police, the Ministry of Fisheries and in private practice. His focus is on family, criminal and traffic, dispute resolution, environmental, media and employment law.
Meticulous in his approach to his clients work, Kelvin is a convincing litigator with well developed skills who has appeared in the District Court, High Court, Court of Appeal, Employment Court, Family Court and Medical Disciplinary Tribunal.
Clients retain Kelvin to advise on a variety of matters including planning, resource consent applications, submissions to local and regional authorities, protection of domain name registrations, resolution of criminal charges and general litigation.
Another Wellingtonian, Kelvin is adapting quickly to Southern life and has immediately made his presence felt in the community with his friendly manner, veracity in his work and excellent results. Kelvin is a member of the Waiareka Valley Lions Club and looks forward to immersing himself further in the community of the Waitaki.
Kelvin's primary school aged children ensure that he has a very busy home life. He also enjoys playing tennis, appreciating nice wines and cultivating his large walnut grove.
