Ann joined the firm in 2005 in a management role.
Before joining Dean & Associates Ann worked in the banking and insurance area before completing her Commerce degree whilst raising her three children. As practice manager Ann supervises the office and front line staff, whilst also overseeing all financial operations of the firm including accounting, purchasing, insurance and risk management.
Ann has responsibility for all human resources and personnel aspects of the practice and is also the first point of contact for administrative matters. Her role also includes liaison with suppliers, network administrators and IT personnel together with systems integration, legal compliance and project management.
Ann has been invited into the specialist Practice Managers group within LANZ and regularly attends its seminars and functions throughout the country. She is also a member and past President of Zonta's Oamaru branch and serves as a trustee of the Heritage North Otago Society Charitable Trust.
Outside of work Ann enjoys walking and tramping, she is an enthusiastic reader and gardener, and loves spending time with her three children.
